Monitors
Switch between the displays of the other computer, see all of them at once, or open each monitor in its own window.
Switch to another display#
When the other computer has more than one display, the toolbar has a display picker. Open it and choose Display 1, Display 2 and so on. The picture switches to that display.
Note
The picker is not there when the other computer shows a single display, or when one app only is shared.
All displays#
Choose All displays to see every display side by side as one picture. Use Fit to window, Actual size and Fullscreen in the toolbar to make it easier to read.
Each monitor in its own window#
If the other computer can show more displays at a time, the picker says how many. Press Open in a separate window beside a display, or Show all monitors in separate windows.
- Each extra display has its own window.
- The mouse acts on the window it is over.
- Browsers allow one new window per click. If the window is blocked, that monitor is shown beside the main picture instead; allow pop-ups for this site, or use the window button on its tile.
- Each extra display costs the other computer some work, so close the ones you do not need.
The setting on the other computer#
In RFDesk on the computer being reached, Share all displays decides this. Off shares only the main display and hides the others from the people who connect.
