How to read a plan
Each plan card states the same five things, so plans are easy to compare.
- How long a single session may last.
- How many sessions you may start in a day.
- How many devices can be linked to the account.
- Whether file transfer is included.
- Whether commercial use is allowed, or the plan is for personal use only.
What an account adds
You can connect to a computer with only its ID and password. An account adds the things that need to remember you: a list of your own computers with access rules and wake-on-LAN, a session history with your notes, usage reports, two-step sign-in, and teams with a shared address book.
Limits are shown, not sprung on you
When a time limit applies to a session, the viewer shows a countdown from the start. If the service has session limits switched off, the plan cards say so, and sessions are unlimited for everyone for as long as that lasts. If you reach a daily limit, the connect page tells you in plain words.
What does not depend on the plan
Protection is not a paid extra. Every session on every plan uses the same password proof, the same approval at the computer and the same encrypted connection between the two devices. Details are on the security page.
